Can 28-day contraceptive pills protect me from pregnancy?
Hello, I'm on the 28 day contraceptive pills. I have been taking my pills everyday on time, however yesterday was my 16th day but I took the 21st day pill instead. I am just now realizing so I took the 16th pill that was meant for yesterday along with my 17th day pill for today. I had sexual intercourse yesterday so will the pills still protect me from getting pregnant?

Continue taking your regular pills, but exercise heightened caution. If any unusual symptoms like nausea or irregular bleeding occur, please consult a gynecologist.
